Sr. Specialist Accountant - Cost Accounting

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Specialist Accountant to lead cost accounting activities for AL TARIQ, a precision‑guided systems manufacturer. The role focuses on project and product costing, budgeting, forecasting, and monthly financial closing.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full project costing, including contract analysis, monthly financial statements, and Estimated at Completion (EAC) calculations.
• Prepare and validate product costing for all items within each project.
• Maintain the manufacturing accounting system and evaluate floor performance against financial targets.
• Coordinate the annual budget and forecast process for the company.
• Produce monthly management reports for senior leadership and upload them to Hyperian and the EDGE portal.
• Create new assets in SAP and verify against approved Capex budgets.
• Oversee monthly closing activities, ensuring proper expense classification, WIP transfers, finished‑goods calculations, and cost variance analysis.
• Develop cash‑flow forecasts and manage letters of credit/guarantee with banks.
• Perform variance analysis between budgeted and actual costs.
• Support internal and external auditors during interim and year‑end audits.
• Collaborate with project managers and finance team members to achieve KPIs and deliver timely MIS.
