Staff Nurse – Interventional Radiology

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi is seeking a qualified Staff Nurse to join its Interventional Radiology team. The role involves delivering direct and indirect patient care, applying evidence‑based nursing practices to a diverse patient population in a fast‑paced interventional setting.

Key responsibilities

• Perform timely patient admissions, comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Provide direct nursing care, monitor patient conditions, document interventions and evaluate outcomes.
• Deliver family‑centered education, assess cultural and special needs, and ensure patient understanding of care.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with policies, using barcode scanning and Epic documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, delegate tasks appropriately and uphold patient confidentiality.
• Participate in evidence‑based practice initiatives, report errors or near‑misses and contribute to quality improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent from an accredited program.
• Current national nursing license and successful completion of the NCLEX (USA) or Canadian licensing exam.
• Minimum two years of post‑graduate experience in an Interventional Radiology environment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Required skills

• Proficiency with barcode medication scanning.
• Experience using Epic electronic health record system.
• Strong knowledge of evidence‑based nursing protocols in interventional radiology.
