Staff Nurse – Neuro ICU (Critical Care)

About the role

The Neuro Intensive Care Unit at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi is seeking experienced Staff Nurses to provide high‑quality, evidence‑based care to critically ill neurological patients. The role involves direct and indirect patient care, education, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive admission assessments and continuously monitor patient status.
• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized care plans based on nursing theory and clinical judgment.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with approved protocols.
• Provide patient and family education on diagnoses, procedures, medication use, and safety.
• Supervise Practical Nurses and delegate appropriate tasks.
• Document care accurately and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum two years recent experience in a Neuro ICU setting.
• Strong knowledge of neurosurgical intensive care practices.
• Ability to assess behavioral, growth, development, and psychosocial needs of patients.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
