Staff Software Engineer

About the role

Join Ode’s AI engineering team to build cutting‑edge AI products for enterprise clients. You will lead technical direction while spending most of your time writing production‑ready code.

Key responsibilities

• Set technical direction and write elegant, production‑ready code for AI‑driven products.
• Collaborate directly with client CTOs to understand requirements, discuss trade‑offs, and ensure solutions meet their needs.
• Mentor a small team of 2–5 engineers and a product manager, acting as the go‑to person for complex challenges.

Required profile

• 8+ years of engineering experience with a track record of shipping complete products.
• Strong interest in applying software‑engineering fundamentals to AI systems.
• Excellent communication skills for senior technical stakeholder interactions.
• High ownership mindset, low ego, and high integrity.

Required skills

• Deep software engineering expertise across multiple disciplines.
• Experience designing, testing, and deploying AI‑enabled systems.
