Steel Fixer – Construction Site

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Steel Fixer to join our construction team in Dubai. You will ensure the structural integrity of projects by accurately positioning and securing reinforcement steel according to engineering specifications and UAE building codes.

Key responsibilities

• Position and secure reinforcement steel bars and mesh in concrete formwork following approved drawings.
• Interpret construction blueprints, structural plans, and technical documentation for precise steel placement.
• Tie and bind steel reinforcement using appropriate techniques and materials.
• Inspect steel placement for quality assurance and compliance with project specifications and UAE codes.
• Organize and manage steel materials on‑site, ensuring proper storage and accessibility.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work and material usage.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Steel Fixer or in reinforcement steel work on construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Physical capability to perform manual labour and work at heights.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Required skills

• Steel fixing techniques and tools.
• Reading and interpreting construction drawings and blueprints.
• Familiarity with CAD software (preferred).
