Stewarding Supervisor

About the role

The Stewarding Supervisor will lead a team of stewards to ensure efficient clean‑up operations and support banquet and kitchen services at our Dubai property. This full‑time, onsite role combines hands‑on cleaning duties with supervisory responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and assist stewards to maximise cleaning efficiency, monitoring water temperature and chemical levels.
• Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, hand‑wash stations, pot‑scrubbing stations and trash compactors.
• Assist with banquet plate‑ups, transport stock, and ensure adequate supplies for buffet service.
• Support cooks and kitchen staff by providing needed items and returning cleaned equipment to proper locations.
• Participate in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling and motivating team members.
• Enforce company safety, security and uniform standards, and report any accidents or unsafe conditions.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and uphold confidentiality of proprietary information.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related stewarding experience.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Ability to lift, carry, push or pull objects up to 50 lb and stand for extended periods.
• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with guests.
