Storekeeper – Warehouse Operations

About the role

The Storekeeper will oversee warehouse operations, ensuring accurate stock records and timely procurement to avoid shortages or overstocking.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain inventory using computer‑assisted inventory systems and software, monitoring minimum and maximum levels.
• Prepare purchase requisitions, regular reports, and analyses on stock levels and consumption rates.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders for quantity, quality, and specifications.
• Coordinate scheduled and urgent deliveries, communicating details to end‑user departments and suppliers.
• Sort, organize, pack, label, and shelve supplies to maximize efficiency and minimize damage.
• Operate simple office machines, material‑handling equipment and, where required, a forklift or other light machinery.
• Implement health and safety standards, reporting any concerns to the Line Manager or HSE personnel.
• Perform any other job‑related tasks assigned by the line manager within the expected time limit.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in warehouse or storekeeping functions.
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred) and ability to work in an English/Arabic environment.
