Structural Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves designing and analysing structural systems for construction projects and ensuring compliance with UAE building codes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and analyse structural systems for construction projects.
• Prepare and review structural drawings, calculations and technical documents.
• Ensure designs comply with UAE building codes, standards and project specifications.
• Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, MEP teams, consultants and contractors.
• Review construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings.
• Identify and resolve structural and technical issues during construction.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical support as required.
• Monitor project progress and ensure structural works meet quality and safety requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in structural engineering, preferably with a contracting company.
• Strong knowledge of structural design principles, construction methods and relevant standards.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and technical documents.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem‑solving skills.
