Student Supervisor – Immediate Start

About the role

The Student Supervisor will support the daily operations of Al Shohub Private School, a British‑curriculum primary school in Khalifa City A. This role involves liaising with students, parents, and staff to ensure a safe, organised, and welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with students, parents and staff via email, phone and face‑to‑face.
• Assist reception and attendance officers with student whereabouts and safeguarding.
• Work with the Pastoral Team to improve processes such as attendance, punctuality, lockers and rewards.
• Coordinate events and meetings with Assistant Principals, Heads of Year, admissions, housekeeping, IT and external providers.
• Maintain accurate pastoral data in systems like iSAMS, ePraise, CPOMS and ensure certificates are prepared for assemblies.
• Manage resources and stock for moral‑education items (badges, awards, stationery).
• Provide general administration, diary management, guest reception and act as interpreter at parent‑student meetings when required.

Required profile

• School leaver certificate or equivalent with GCSE‑level English and Mathematics.
• Previous experience in front‑of‑house, secretarial, clerical or administrative roles.
• Fluent in both English and Arabic (spoken, read and written).
• Commitment to the school’s vision, safeguarding duties and continuous professional development.

Required skills

• Proficiency with iSAMS, CPOMS, ePraise and SmartPass.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Experience using Canva or similar design tools.
