Sushi Commis Chef – Join Kitopi's Kitchen Team

About the role

Kitopi is seeking a motivated Sushi Commis Chef to support its fast‑paced kitchen in Sharjah. You will work alongside senior sushi chefs to deliver high‑quality Japanese dishes while maintaining the brand’s strict hygiene standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of sushi rolls, nigiri, and other Japanese menu items.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in line with food safety regulations.
• Support senior sushi chefs during service, ensuring timely delivery of orders.
• Monitor ingredient freshness and help with inventory replenishment.
• Ensure consistency and quality of every dish served.

Required profile

• Previous experience in sushi preparation is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Basic knowledge of sushi ingredients, knife handling, and hygiene standards.
• Ability to thrive in a high‑pressure kitchen environment.
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Immediate availability is a plus.
