Sustainability Consultant – Construction and Site Supervision

About the role

AESG is looking for a proactive Sustainability Consultant to lead on‑site sustainability services across multiple high‑profile construction projects in the UAE. The role combines technical review, compliance monitoring and coordination with contractors to achieve green building certifications such as LEED, Estidama, WELL, Mostadam and Fitwel.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections, prepare observation reports and track sustainability compliance.
• Review material submittals, shop drawings and contractor method statements for alignment with certification requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and design teams to gather documentation and evidence for certification submissions.
• Support LEED, Estidama, WELL, Mostadam, Fitwel and other rating system submissions and authority approvals during construction.
• Monitor construction waste management, indoor air quality, erosion and sedimentation control, and overall environmental compliance.
• Maintain construction trackers, NCRs and close‑out reports; assist in commissioning coordination and handover documentation.
• Participate in client, contractor and coordination meetings, providing technical sustainability guidance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Environmental Science, Sustainability or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in sustainability consulting and/or construction supervision.
• Proven ability to work with multidisciplinary teams in fast‑paced construction environments.
