About the role
The System Administrator will manage and maintain our Windows and Linux server environments, ensuring high availability and performance for the emaratech G department.
Key responsibilities
- Administer Windows Server and Linux (Red Hat/Ubuntu) systems, including patching and security updates.
- Provision and manage virtual machines using VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.
- Implement and monitor backup solutions such as Veeam and Commvault, and manage SAN/NAS storage.
- Perform basic MSSQL database administration tasks, including backups, restores, and user management.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related diploma.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in system administration within a similar environment.
