System Analyst – Core Banking (Temenos Transact)

About the role

The System Analyst will work on the core banking platform, focusing on Temenos Transact (T24) implementations and enhancements. The role requires deep technical knowledge of Temenos architecture and strong collaboration with business and technical teams. It is based in Abu Dhabi and supports the bank’s Islamic and conventional product suite.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical and techno‑functional support for Temenos Transact (T24) implementations and upgrades.
• Perform root‑cause analysis of issues and deliver permanent fixes or effective work‑arounds.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of hands‑on experience with Temenos Transact (T24) R20+ in a banking environment, preferably in the UAE.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with proven RCA experience.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with business users, developers and QA teams.

Required skills

• Temenos Arrangement Architecture (AA) and Temenos Payments Hub (TPH).
• jBASE, TAFJ, TAFC development tools.
• InfoBasic programming.
• Temenos APIs and Integration Frameworks (OFS, REST, SOAP).
• SQL/jBase.
• Windows operating environment.
