About the role
The Tandem Mill Pulpit Operator is responsible for overseeing the pulpit area of a rolling mill in Abu Dhabi. This position ensures smooth, efficient production by controlling rolling parameters, speed, and product dimensions while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Operate and monitor the tandem mill pulpit to achieve production targets.
- Control rolling parameters, production speed, and product dimensions.
- Monitor equipment performance and respond promptly to any operational issues.
- Coordinate with mill operators, maintenance, and production teams to minimise downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures.
Required profile
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar industrial or rolling‑mill environment.
- ITI or Diploma qualification.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented setting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
