Tax Accountant

About the role

BookBI is seeking a full‑time Tax Accountant to join its Dubai office. You will be responsible for day‑to‑day tax preparation and compliance, ensuring accurate and timely filing in line with UAE regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Review financial statements and validate accounting records for tax purposes.
• Prepare tax computations, reports and ensure timely filing of corporate tax and VAT.
• Monitor changes in UAE tax laws and advise on tax‑efficient practices.
• Support internal audits and respond to tax‑related queries from cross‑functional teams.
• Provide feedback to improve BookBI’s AI‑powered accounting tools based on practical tax use cases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA, CA or equivalent is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of UAE corporate tax and VAT regulations and local reporting requirements.
• Experience with accounting software or AI‑driven financial tools.
• Excellent analytical ability, attention to detail and capacity to manage multiple deadlines.
• Professional ethics, confidentiality and effective communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Familiarity with accounting software platforms.
