About the role
BookBI is seeking a full‑time Tax Accountant to join its Dubai office. You will be responsible for day‑to‑day tax preparation and compliance, ensuring accurate and timely filing in line with UAE regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Review financial statements and validate accounting records for tax purposes.
- Prepare tax computations, reports and ensure timely filing of corporate tax and VAT.
- Monitor changes in UAE tax laws and advise on tax‑efficient practices.
- Support internal audits and respond to tax‑related queries from cross‑functional teams.
- Provide feedback to improve BookBI’s AI‑powered accounting tools based on practical tax use cases.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA, CA or equivalent is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of UAE corporate tax and VAT regulations and local reporting requirements.
- Experience with accounting software or AI‑driven financial tools.
- Excellent analytical ability, attention to detail and capacity to manage multiple deadlines.
- Professional ethics, confidentiality and effective communication skills.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
- Familiarity with accounting software platforms.
