Tax Quality Manager – MENA Region

About the role

EY UAE is seeking a Tax Quality Manager to join the MENA Tax Quality team. The role supports client teams across the Middle East and North Africa, ensuring high‑quality tax work, effective risk management, and compliance with EY and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide timely, accurate advice on procedural, policy, quality, compliance and risk‑management matters.
• Review client and engagement acceptance assessments and collaborate with client‑serving teams for approvals.
• Conduct periodic policy and guidance reviews and produce guidance on identified concerns.
• Create and develop processes and protocols governing quality and risk‑management matters.
• Design, curate and deliver training programs for the business.
• Perform contract reviews from a risk identification perspective and support related negotiations.
• Lead short‑ and long‑term projects, driving change‑management initiatives.
• Identify efficiencies in process design or redesign, leveraging technology and AI.

Required profile

• Manager‑level experience in tax, quality assurance or risk management within a professional services environment.
• Strong understanding of tax regulations, EY policies and global tax quality standards.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with General Counsel, Risk Management and client teams.
• Excellent communication skills and experience delivering training.
• Track record of leading projects and driving process improvements.
