Teacher - Design Technology / ICT

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking a Teacher for Design Technology and ICT to join its growing network of schools in Abu Dhabi. The role involves delivering high‑quality, inclusive learning experiences that inspire curiosity and creativity.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver lessons that meet curriculum outcomes and cater to a wide ability range.
• Organise classroom resources, create engaging displays and manage hybrid, distance‑learning and face‑to‑face sessions.
• Support SEN, EAL and gifted‑and‑talented students through differentiated instruction.
• Maintain behaviour standards, follow safeguarding policies and act as a positive role model.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related subject with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum two years of teaching experience in an international school setting.
• Experience working with students for whom English is not the first language.
• Professional, approachable, and able to engage with a multicultural community.

Required skills

• Proficiency in delivering Design Technology and ICT curriculum.
• Strong classroom management and lesson‑planning abilities.
• Effective communication with parents and stakeholders in a diverse environment.
