Team Lead – Industry Consulting (Pre‑Sales)

About the role

Octave is looking for a Team Lead, Industry Consulting to drive strategic pre‑sales engagements across the full asset lifecycle of industrial facilities. Reporting to the Director of Pre‑Sales, you will work closely with sales, solution consultants and product teams to accelerate customers' digital maturity.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Sales team to define account strategies aligned with customer outcomes.
• Conduct deep assessments of customer workflows, technical environments and digital maturity.
• Translate findings into actionable solution roadmaps and proposals.
• Lead workshops, discovery sessions and value‑articulation activities.
• Provide feedback to influence product strategy and roadmap.
• Support RFIs/RFPs by creating business and functional requirements.
• Act as a trusted advisor guiding clients through digital transformation.

Required profile

• Engineering, Business or equivalent degree.
• ~15 years of experience in pre‑sales, consulting or technical leadership within industrial facilities.
• Proven record in business development or industry consulting focused on digital transformation.
• Strong understanding of engineering, construction and operations phases.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable with C‑level stakeholders.
• Fluent English; Arabic is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% across the EMIA region.
