Team Leader - Business Development, Offshore Chartering

About the role

ADNOC Logistics & Services, the logistics arm of ADNOC Group, is looking for a Team Leader for its Offshore Chartering business development team in Abu Dhabi. The role provides leadership and direction to the chartering team, takes part in shaping commercial strategy and oversees the team's commercial activities.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and participate in the formulation of commercial strategies aligned with the organisation's objectives
• Take part in tendering strategies (charter in/out) to win contracts, ensuring transparency, fairness and good commercial practice
• Supervise and coordinate the commercial team's activities in the assigned area and attend client and contractor tendering meetings
• Support the Commercial Manager in delivering department objectives and compliance with processes
• Help evaluate monthly management reports, prepare summaries and recommend action plans
• Identify areas for improvement with other commercial sections and coach teams
• Contribute to short-, medium- and long-term business strategies and the business unit's commercial strategy
• Train and develop staff, help prepare section budgets, investigate budget variances and implement approved policies and procedures
• Design tools to improve process quality and efficiency, and comply with HSE policies and ADNOC sustainability guidelines

Required profile

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering or an equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum 15 years of experience in commercial and chartering
• Experience in the offshore industry (offshore/onshore)
• Regional experience in the GCC (with IOC/NOC/EPC)
