Team Leader, Oil Spill & HNS Response (Musaffah)

About the role

A global energy maritime logistics company, the logistics arm of ADNOC Group, is looking for a Team Leader for its Oil Spill & HNS Response base at Musaffah. The role leads and supervises Operations, Safety, Logistics and Maintenance activities, keeping the base's response capabilities at the highest level of readiness and coaching the team to improve their skills and confidence.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the implementation of operational, HSE, logistics and maintenance plans, policies and procedures, ensuring safety and environmental protection in line with ADNOC HSE standards.
• Train and develop Oil Spill & HNS officers and responders, and supervise handovers between duty teams.
• Develop and manage the annual Site-Specific Protection Plan and tactical response strategies, and monitor daily, weekly, monthly and annual plans, inspections and checklists.
• Manage procurement of equipment, spare parts and consumables, and oversee flight bookings and HR processes such as attendance, leave and medical check-ups.
• Investigate and record incidents and accidents, and take part in lessons-learnt debriefs.
• Act as On Scene Commander during incidents, coordinate site surveys, prepare materials and manpower, and supervise officers and responders.
• Provide technical advice to the Base Manager and liaise with other Team Leaders for single and multi-base responses.
• Remain on call 24 hours a day according to the duty roster.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or HND in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
• 6 years of experience in the Oil Spill & HNS Response field.
• OPRC OSR Level 3 or IMO Level 3.
• STCW and T-BOSIET.
• NEBOSH IGC/IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent.
• Preferred: Boat Operators Commercial License.
