Team Leader Stewarding

About the role

The Meydan Hotel is seeking an experienced Team Leader Stewarding to supervise and coordinate stewarding staff, ensuring a safe and well‑organized environment for guests and event attendees. This full‑time position plays a key part in delivering the hotel’s high standards of service and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and allocate duties to stewarding staff for events and daily operations.
• Conduct pre‑event briefings covering roles, responsibilities and safety procedures.
• Monitor crowd behavior, manage entry, exit and queue control to maintain public safety.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies or customer concerns calmly and professionally.
• Liaise with security, management and emergency services as required.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety policies and venue regulations.
• Complete incident reports and provide feedback to management.
• Support training and development of stewarding staff.

Required profile

• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay calm and make decisions under pressure.
• Previous experience supervising stewarding, security or event operations.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Knowledge of crowd management and conflict‑resolution techniques.
• Understanding of health & safety regulations.
• Observational and problem‑solving skills.
