Technical Engineer (Architectural Background)

About the role

A Technical Engineer with an architectural background is needed in Dubai. The role reviews shop drawings, coordinates technical documents and supports site and procurement teams, ensuring compliance with project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Review shop drawings and provide technical comments.
• Coordinate material submittals and technical documents.
• Provide technical support to site and procurement teams.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and approved requirements.
• Work with consultants, subcontractors and site teams to resolve technical issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering.
• Minimum 6-7 years of experience with main contractors.
• Experience in UAE or GCC projects.
• Good experience in shop drawing review, coordination and technical comments.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, specifications and building systems.
• Familiarity with UAE regulations and project requirements.
• Previous experience in high-rise and residential projects is preferable.

Required skills

• AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft Office.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
