About the role
The Technical Manager will lead the technical team on building projects, ensuring high‑quality drawings and timely delivery. This role bridges design, procurement and project management to support successful construction outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Produce layouts, general arrangements and detailed technical drawings in line with project specifications.
- Supervise and schedule the technical team, cross‑checking all drawings for compliance and standards.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to provide accurate drawings from design through production.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for approved drawings to support procurement and production departments.
- Calculate time requirements for drawing development and ensure deadlines are met.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the UAE construction sector with major contracting companies.
