Technical Manager – Joinery & Interior Fit-Out

About the role

Black Pearl is looking for a Technical Manager to lead the drafting function for joinery and interior fit‑out projects in Dubai. The role combines hands‑on technical expertise with team leadership to ensure accurate, compliant drawings from design approval through production and installation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and allocate work for the drafting team.
• Review, prepare and approve shop, production and joinery drawings.
• Guarantee that all technical drawings meet project requirements and quality standards.
• Coordinate with operations, project, production and site teams to align schedules.
• Monitor drafting progress, report productivity and ensure timely submission.
• Provide technical guidance on joinery detailing, materials and manufacturing processes.
• Support continuous improvement of drafting processes and documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 + years of experience in joinery and interior fit‑out drafting.
• Proven experience leading and supervising a team of draftsmen.
• Strong knowledge of joinery materials, fabrication and installation requirements.
• Background in luxury residential, hospitality, commercial or retail fit‑out projects.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential).
• Knowledge of Revit (advantage).
• Knowledge of SketchUp (advantage).
