Technical Project Manager – Building Materials

About the role

Hunter Douglas Architectural seeks an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead building‑materials projects from production through on‑site installation. You will act as the central liaison between clients and cross‑regional internal teams, ensuring technical specifications are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure products are manufactured according to approved technical specifications, drawings and project requirements.
• Coordinate technical questions, changes and deviations between engineering, production and the project team.
• Take overall responsibility for project coordination from production to installation, acting as the main point of contact for all parties.
• Organise and lead project meetings, manage changes, technical issues and unforeseen circumstances.
• Plan and monitor production, logistics and site installation to meet schedule and quality standards.

Required profile

• Technical education or equivalent experience in construction, engineering, building materials or manufacturing.
• Proven experience in project management or coordination, with strong planning and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, identify problems early and take decisive action.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Required skills

• Understanding of technical drawings, specifications and construction processes.
• Experience working in production/manufacturing environments and coordinating logistics and installation activities.
