Technical Sales Support - Fire Rated Steel Doors

About the role

The Technical Sales Support professional will assist NAFFCO’s sales teams by providing expert technical and commercial guidance on fire‑rated steel door solutions. This role ensures that specifications are accurate, regulatory compliance is met, and customers receive seamless service from tender to hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to technical and commercial enquiries from customers, architects, contractors and sales colleagues via phone, email and ticketing systems.
• Interpret project specifications, architectural and building‑services drawings to recommend appropriate door assemblies, frames, hardware and glazing.
• Prepare technical input for tenders and quotations, including product schedules, datasheets, drawings and scope clarifications.
• Create and maintain technical documentation such as cut sheets, installation instructions, testing certificates and fire‑rating evidence.
• Coordinate with production, logistics, design and quality teams to ensure accurate Bill of Materials, lead times and delivery instructions.
• Identify recurring issues, gather customer feedback and contribute to product development and process improvements.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of fire‑rated steel doors, frames, hardware, materials and glazing.
• Familiarity with international fire‑safety standards, certification schemes and building regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical matters to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Customer‑focused attitude and ability to manage multiple enquiries in a fast‑paced environment.
