Technician – Inspection and Monitoring

About the role

The Technician – Inspection and Monitoring supports Dubai’s road network by ensuring asset integrity and safety compliance through systematic field inspections and technical audits. The role combines on‑site verification of road corridors, traffic diversions, signage and utilities with data‑driven reporting to improve maintenance planning.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled and ad‑hoc inspections of road corridors, tunnels, bridges and service locations to verify compliance with RTA specifications, engineering drawings and safety regulations.
• Perform technical audits of traffic diversions, signage, road furniture, utilities and reinstatement work, documenting defects on electronic inspection platforms.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants and utility providers (DEWA, Etisalat, DM) to validate corrective actions and close damage reports.
• Record audit outcomes, provide field‑based insights and recommend technical modifications to enhance safety and operational efficiency.
• Respond to public complaints or internal alerts, conduct site inspections and produce technical reports with corrective recommendations.

Required profile

• Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology or related field (Bachelor preferred).
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience (7 years if high‑school qualification).
• All nationalities accepted, with priority given to UAE residents.
