Technician – Material Handling Equipment

About the role

The Technician – Material Handling Equipment will maintain and repair Toyota material handling machinery, ensuring first‑time fixes and minimal repeat issues. The role combines workshop and on‑site work, requiring strong mechanical and electrical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs, troubleshooting, and diagnostics on Toyota material handling equipment, including electric/BT/VNA systems.
• Read and follow workshop manuals and service checklists to execute repairs accurately.
• Diagnose faults, recommend solutions, and ensure issues are resolved on the first attempt.
• Communicate work progress and findings to the foreman or service supervisor.
• Identify potential problems proactively during workshop and field jobs.

Required profile

• Technical education or apprenticeship with a trade certificate/diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience servicing material handling equipment, preferably Toyota/BT.
• Valid UAE manual driving licence.
• Effective communication in English; Arabic is an advantage.
