About the role
The Telephone Operator at Millennium Airport Hotel Dubai prioritises every guest call and delivers a professional, customer-focused response so guests enjoy a memorable stay. The role covers answering calls, managing the switchboard, handling messages and keeping track of hotel services.
Key responsibilities
- Receive each guest call professionally and warmly, greeting guests by name and addressing queries politely and courteously
- Foster effective communication with all relevant departments to ensure seamless service
- Keep up to date with the hotel's services and local offerings, and use the Opera guest profile system to know guest profiles
- Complete long-distance call vouchers and record them on the traffic sheet
- Manage the guest wake-up call sheet and deliver calls promptly
- Ensure the switchboard runs smoothly, with fast and efficient internal and external call transfers
- Take messages for guests and management according to prescribed standards
- Follow the company's environmental, health and safety policies
