Telesales Executive - Education and Test Preparation

About the role

WhizzHR is hiring a full-time Telecaller for its education and test-preparation business, within the Sales and Student Counselling department. The role involves contacting prospective students and parents, explaining available courses, generating leads, following up on enquiries and scheduling counselling sessions. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, a professional telephone manner and the ability to turn enquiries into student enrolments.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to prospective students and parents and respond to incoming calls and enquiries about educational services and test-preparation courses.
• Explain courses and exams such as SAT, IELTS, TOEFL, GRE, GMAT, UCAT and IMAT, and share relevant course information based on student needs.
• Generate and qualify leads through calls and follow-ups, then schedule counselling and academic consultation appointments.
• Follow up with prospects to encourage enrolment and maintain accurate call, enquiry and lead records in the CRM.
• Coordinate with the counselling and academic teams, achieve daily calling and monthly conversion targets, and prepare regular reports on calls, leads, appointments and conversions.

Required profile

• Previous experience in telecalling, telesales, customer service or lead generation is preferred; education, student counselling or course sales experience is an advantage.
• Good command of spoken English and Arabic, with strong persuasion, negotiation and follow-up skills.
• Target-oriented, organized and able to handle multiple leads; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• PREFERRED: experience in an education consultancy, training institute or test-preparation centre, and knowledge of international entrance examinations and English proficiency tests.
