About the role
The Teller (Emiratized) role focuses on cash management and delivering high‑quality service to bank customers. You will handle cash transactions, foreign exchange, and support customers with a range of banking products.
Key responsibilities
- Process cash withdrawals, deposits, foreign exchange, cheque deposits and inter‑account transfers.
- Handle vault and main‑safe cash movements and perform end‑of‑day cash reconciliation.
- Assist customers with demand drafts, telegraphic transfers, standing instructions, IPO processing and other banking services.
- Process inward and outward cheques, including collection, clearing and returns.
- Answer branch telephone calls professionally and address customer queries.
- Post debit/credit vouchers, maintain documentation and ensure accurate cash postings.
- Promote online and mobile banking, achieving monthly onboarding targets.
Required profile
- High school graduate.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in the banking sector.
- Familiarity with bank products, customer experience standards and related policies and procedures.
