UAE Social Studies Teacher (AY27/28)

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking an outstanding Teacher of UAE Social Studies for the academic year 27/28. Candidates must have solid knowledge of the English National Curriculum and a proven record of raising standards and supporting learners whose first language is not English. The role requires collaborative leadership within a supportive school community.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging UAE Social Studies lessons aligned with the English National Curriculum.
• Plan and collaborate with colleagues to create inclusive, differentiated learning experiences.
• Assess student progress, record data using Target Tracker and provide feedback to parents.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school’s policy and act as a positive role model.
• Participate in curriculum action groups, organise school events and run a weekly extracurricular activity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• 1–2 years of teaching experience, preferably with learners for whom English is an additional language.
• Demonstrated ability to raise standards, use data to inform planning and work collaboratively.
• Clean enhanced DBS/police check.
