Utilities & Sea Water Reverse Osmosis Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Utilities & Sea Water Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) Specialist to act as the technical advisor for utilities and SWRO scope during developer bid reviews and RFP preparation. The role involves leading technical due diligence, ensuring compliance with project and off‑taker requirements, and supporting contract negotiations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical advice for utilities and SWRO scope during bid review and RFP/specification preparation.
• Lead technical due diligence, verify compliance with project/off‑taker requirements and identify risks.
• Prepare clarifications, support technical evaluation and contribute to contract schedules.
• Assist in negotiation support and contract documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Professional registration, chartership, or OEM/utility/off‑taker experience preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in power/water utilities, SWRO desalination, industrial water treatment, or as an owner’s engineer/EPC reviewer.

Required skills

• SWRO process design and operation.
• Seawater intake and outfall management.
• Pretreatment, ultrafiltration (UF) and reverse osmosis (RO) technologies.
• Remineralization and demineralized water production.
• Chemical dosing and environmental discharge compliance.
• Knowledge of WHO/GCC potable water guidelines, NFPA fire‑water standards, and API/ASME specifications.
