Vice President AML Onboarding – UAE

About the role

iCapital is seeking a Vice President, Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) to lead its AML, CTF and CPF framework in the United Arab Emirates. The role reports to the Regulatory and Compliance team and serves as the primary liaison with UAE regulators.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the UAE AML/CFT/CPF compliance framework and ensure alignment with local laws, regulations and global standards.
• Act as the main point of contact for the UAE Financial Intelligence Unit and other regulators.
• Lead investigation, escalation and reporting of suspicious activities.
• Monitor regulatory developments and implement enhancements to the firm’s compliance program.
• Review EMEA distributor agreements for UAE compliance and support the Middle East Client Solutions team.

Required profile

• 10‑15+ years of experience in alternative investments, private funds or registered investment advisory in the UAE/Middle East.
• Proven expertise in fund structuring, formation and reviewing governing documents.
• Strong verbal communication skills and professional client‑facing demeanor.
• Self‑motivated with solid project management and process development abilities.
