About the role
You will join the Italian Corporate team at the Abu Dhabi branch, reporting to the General Manager. In this senior position you will manage relationships with Italian‑related corporate clients, develop the portfolio and pursue budget targets.
Key responsibilities
- Identify new business opportunities, secure mandates and negotiate transaction terms.
- Prepare and submit credit proposals, review transaction documentation and coordinate funding requirements.
- Monitor portfolio credit quality, facility utilisation and overdrafts, ensuring timely credit reviews.
- Ensure compliance with Group policies, AML, sanctions and embargoes, including due diligence on clients.
- Prepare portfolio budgets and coordinate regulatory reporting.
- Lead and coordinate Assistant Relationship Managers supporting the desk.
Required profile
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong knowledge of banking products and services.
- Sound understanding of credit risk analysis.
- Effective communication and commercial skills.
