Video Producer – Digital & Social Media

About the role

The Video Producer creates compelling, high‑quality video content for digital and social platforms. Working closely with production staff and the editorial team, this role transforms raw footage into polished, platform‑ready stories that align with the organisation’s editorial vision.

Key responsibilities

• Lead video editing and post‑production from raw footage to final delivery, including narrative structuring, sound design, colour correction, graphics, subtitles and mastering.
• Support all stages of video production, from concept development and pre‑production planning to filming.
• Adapt and reformat content for various digital platforms, applying platform‑specific editing styles and audience‑retention techniques.
• Incorporate motion graphics, text treatments, branding elements, music and other creative assets.
• Ensure all videos meet editorial, technical and brand standards for accuracy, audio quality and visual consistency.
• Manage multiple edits and deadlines to maintain a fast, organised production workflow.
• Collaborate with department heads, editorial desks and stakeholders to align videos with creative direction and editorial objectives.
• Develop and follow structured systems for file management, footage storage, backups and long‑term archiving.
• Oversee production and post‑production equipment, ensuring it is available, well‑maintained and in good working condition.
