About the role

Join the vibrant food and beverage team at Sofitel Dubai The Palm, a 5‑star beachfront resort, as a Waiter/Waitress in the Porterhouse casual fine‑dining outlet. You will deliver exceptional service to guests, ensuring every dining experience reflects the resort’s French‑inspired elegance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare the outlet for service, including mise‑en‑place, table setting, and light cleaning.
• Take food and beverage orders, upsell where appropriate, and enter them accurately into the POS system.
• Serve meals and drinks according to established standards and presentation guidelines.
• Clear tables, transport dirty dishes, and maintain a clean, orderly station throughout the shift.
• Complete opening and closing duties, and adapt to special guest requests.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a luxury hotel or established restaurant environment.
• Energetic, fun‑loving personality with a genuine passion for hospitality.
• Currently residing in the United Arab Emirates.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in operating a point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
