Warehouse Assistant II

About the role

Join DHL Global Forwarding in Dubai as a Warehouse Assistant II and support the smooth flow of goods through our warehouse. You will work under supervision to receive, sort, label, store, and dispatch items while ensuring compliance with DHL’s operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments, scan and verify items against shipment records.
• Sort, label, and store goods efficiently to optimise warehouse space.
• Inspect items for damages, update inventory records, and log movements of incoming and outgoing materials.
• Pack items for shipment according to specifications and transportation methods.
• Operate gas or electric powered forklift trucks and hi‑rise equipment to move, stack, and load materials.
• Use handheld scanners to process shipments and maintain accurate documentation.
• Support order fulfilment, respond to inventory enquiries, and resolve routine delivery issues.
• Assist with daily pick‑up scheduling and transshipment consolidation activities.

Required profile

• Ability to work under supervision and follow established procedures.
• Strong attention to detail for accurate verification and documentation.
• Physical capability to handle manual tasks and operate warehouse equipment.

Required skills

• Forklift operation (gas or electric powered).
• Use of handheld scanning devices.
