Warehouse Assistant

About the role

A hardworking, reliable and organized Warehouse Assistant is sought to support daily warehouse operations in Dubai. The successful candidate will help receive, store, pick, pack and dispatch goods while keeping accurate stock records and maintaining a clean, safe and organised workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Receive incoming goods and check quantities against delivery notes and purchase orders
• Assist with loading, unloading and moving goods within the warehouse
• Sort, label, arrange and store products in designated locations
• Pick, pack and prepare orders for delivery or dispatch
• Check products for damage, defects or discrepancies and report issues
• Assist with stock counting and regular inventory checks, and keep records of received, issued and dispatched items
• Keep shelves, storage areas and workspaces clean and organised
• Support the Storekeeper and Warehouse Supervisor, follow warehouse procedures and health and safety guidelines, and use equipment safely where authorised
• Prepare goods for shipment and delivery, and complete other duties assigned by the supervisor

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; freshers with a positive attitude and willingness to learn may apply
• Previous experience in warehouse operations, packing, loading or material handling is an advantage
• Good physical fitness for routine lifting and moving of goods
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently and as part of a team, and manage time and organisation well
• Willingness to work on-site in Dubai and follow assigned shifts

Required skills

• Basic understanding of warehouse activities and stock handling
• Basic communication skills in English
• Forklift operation experience or certification is an advantage, only for authorised operators
• Knowledge of inventory procedures is an advantage
