Workplace Operations Manager EMEA

About the role

At Equinix, offices are described as experiences rather than just workplaces. As a Workplace Operations Manager, you will lead a regional team across several large sites and bring the Four Keys of Safety, Courtesy, Community and Efficiency to life. You will be the authoritative voice of CRE in your markets, a coach to your team and a trusted partner to local business leaders, vendors and landlords.

Key responsibilities

• Delight the customer: own customer service standards across the region, audit tickets, resolve complaints with neutral investigations and oversee surprise-and-delight moments, events and community initiatives.
• Safety first: take full accountability for site security and safety, run emergency response plans, act as an out-of-hours contact in the call tree and ensure compliance with HSE regulations, building policies and Business Continuity Planning.
• Courtesy and compliance: keep regional CRE operations aligned with finance, legal, compliance and risk standards, follow escalation paths and build annual functional budgets and metrics.
• Community: champion inclusivity, wellness and sustainability, and coach, praise and develop your team.
• Efficiency: partner with Procurement, Legal and the Global Vendor Manager on vendor and landlord relationships, contribute to real estate planning (capacity projections, space allocation, Capex/Opex proposals) and advocate for CRE's value across the business.

Required profile

• Proven years of experience in facilities or property management, ideally at sites of 50,000+ sq ft.
• Proven experience in hospitality, service delivery and people leadership.
• University graduate or equivalent work experience.
• Strong track record in project management, budget ownership and business operations.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• A change-ready leader with strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to represent the team.
