Accountant – Blue Rewards Finance Team

About the role

The Blue Rewards finance team is expanding rapidly and needs a dedicated accountant to support its growing portfolio of products, revenue streams, and geographies. Based in Dubai, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and seamless integration with partners.

Key responsibilities

• Perform bank reconciliations for Blue Wallet and Gift Cards, including reseller cases.
• Reconcile SAP GL entries with third‑party integrator reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Daily ICM reconciliations with partners, addressing errors related to Cashback, Gift Cards, Wallet Top‑up, and Points.
• Manage vendor onboarding, raise purchase requisitions/orders, and create IANs and SRFs.
• Coordinate payables with the central payment team and update internal stakeholders.
• Oversee end‑to‑end accounting integration with partners.
• Execute month‑end closing activities, prepare MIS, and liaise with shared service teams.
• Support internal and external audit processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Business Administration (or equivalent) from an accredited university.
• Professional qualification such as CPA or ACCA is a plus.
• Minimum two years of operational finance experience, preferably in digital commerce.
• Strong analytical abilities, business acumen, and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of ERP systems, specifically SAP and Ariba.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Solid understanding of International Accounting Standards (IFRS).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
