Accountant – I2P (Finance Shared Service Center)

About the role

Al-Futtaim is looking for an experienced finance professional to join its Finance Shared Service Center as an I2P Accountant. The role focuses on day‑to‑day I2P activities, ensuring compliance with policies and mitigating financial risks.

Key responsibilities

• Verify and post petty cash expenses across all companies.
• Execute payment runs, review exceptions and manage prepaid card transactions.
• Create and maintain ZFI_Factl files, prepaid card bank charges, and card master data.
• Process reversals, traffic‑fine recoveries, and follow up on old IOU and cheque postings.
• Handle petty cash queries, ECD authorisation, cash journal creation and periodic cash counts.
• Perform float analysis, peer review of petty cash payments, and reconcile credit‑card statements and claims.
• Manage e‑wallet top‑ups for branch and government payments.
• Train petty cashiers, create down‑payment and advance entries, and ensure GL account 110004 clears to zero.
• Support principal and monthly payment cycles, and perform month‑end closing tasks for I2P.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance or accounting, preferably within a shared services environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established policies and procedures.
• Good communication skills to interact with business partners and resolve discrepancies.
