Accounting Manager

About the role

The organisation in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead its general accounting and financial reporting function. You will act as a strategic partner to senior management, ensuring accurate financial data, strong internal controls, and alignment with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end general accounting and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal policies.
• Develop, optimise, and govern General Ledger processes, ERP interfaces, and financial system integrations.
• Provide strategic financial leadership, delivering high‑quality internal and external reports.
• Maintain robust internal controls and oversee a finance team to support business goals.
• Partner with senior management, offering financial insights, analysis, and recommendations for decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years progressive experience in Accounting/Finance, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA or CPA preferred.
• Experience in real‑estate, investment or multi‑entity environments is advantageous.
• Proven ability to lead finance teams and manage complex accounting environments.

Required skills

• Strong expertise in IFRS.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems and financial system integrations.
• Advanced financial reporting and accounting best practices.
