Admin Cum Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a versatile Admin Cum Accountant to support our Dubai office of LA Vita Landscaping & Pools. The role combines day‑to‑day bookkeeping, office administration and basic HR coordination to ensure smooth financial and operational processes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, process accounts payable and receivable, and post daily journal entries using accounting software (Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Tally or similar).
• Prepare and run monthly payroll in compliance with UAE WPS, handling deductions and salary transfers.
• Perform regular bank and ledger reconciliations and assist in VAT return preparation.
• Generate basic financial reports such as profit & loss and balance‑sheet summaries for management.
• Oversee office supplies, equipment, and correspondence; manage physical and digital filing systems for contracts, invoices and other documents.
• Support HR functions including employee record keeping, onboarding/off‑boarding, and coordination of visas, labour cards and medical insurance with PRO services.
• Communicate professionally with vendors, suppliers and clients regarding invoices and payments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in a combined admin and accounting role, preferably within the UAE.
• Familiarity with UAE labour and financial regulations, including VAT and WPS.
