AI Business Partner – Property & Buildings

About the role

WSP Middle East is looking for an experienced AI Business Partner to work directly with the Property & Buildings (P&B) Business Unit leadership. This senior position bridges design, engineering and applied intelligence to embed AI and digital tools into core project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the AI and digital roadmap for P&B, aligning with business priorities and project demands.
• Identify high‑impact AI use cases across the project lifecycle, build business cases with clear KPIs and ROI, and manage the pipeline to scaled deployment.
• Lead integration of AI and computational design tools (Revit, Dynamo, Rhino, Grasshopper, AutoCAD, Power BI) into workflows and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Oversee end‑to‑end implementation of AI solutions in live projects, ensuring scalability, adoption and effective change management.
• Establish governance frameworks for AI deployment, ensuring data security, IP protection and compliance with WSP standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture, Engineering or related discipline; professional accreditation (e.g., RIBA, ARB) is a plus.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in design management, architecture or equivalent, delivering large‑scale projects.
• Proven track record of managing complex, multi‑stakeholder programmes and influencing senior leaders.
• Strong regional experience in the Middle East and familiarity with enterprise governance environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with BIM and computational design tools: Revit, Dynamo, Grasshopper, Rhino, AutoCAD.
• Experience with data‑driven design and AI integration, including generative AI, advanced analytics and automation platforms.
• Knowledge of project delivery systems such as Primavera P6, Aconex, ACC and Power BI.
