Applied Behavioral Analyst (ABA Therapist)

About the role

The Applied Behavioral Analyst will deliver evidence‑based ABA therapy to children with autism and related developmental disabilities across home, community and school settings. The role combines direct client care, data‑driven behavior reduction, and collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and group ABA instruction using intensive teaching and natural environment training.
• Follow prescribed skill‑acquisition and behavior‑reduction protocols and document observable client behavior.
• Write behavior support plans, conduct functional assessments, and communicate progress to parents, teachers and caregivers.
• Train parents and caregivers on individualized treatment protocols and ensure safe handling procedures.
• Maintain client confidentiality, a clean therapy environment, and assume Lead Behavioral Technician duties when needed.
• Collaborate with the treatment team, attend required trainings, and ensure compliance with safety, infection control and quality‑assurance standards.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education or a related field.
• BCBA, BCaBA or equivalent certification preferred; qualified for DOH licensing as an ABA provider.
• Minimum two years of post‑qualification experience working with autism or developmental disabilities.
