Arabic Teacher

About the role

We are looking for an Arabic Teacher to support the educational and social development of pupils at Al Mamoura Academy, working under the guidance of the SENCO, Key Stage Leader and Vice Principal. The role involves delivering inspiring Arabic lessons, collaborating with staff and engaging with parents to ensure the best academic outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Arabic lessons that motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential.
• Plan, prepare and present sessions that cater to the full ability range within the class.
• Organise classroom resources and create displays that foster a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to design engaging curriculum‑aligned lessons.
• Liaise with parents to support children’s happiness and academic progress.
• Assess and record student progress using the Target Tracker system.
• Use assessment data to inform further planning, provision and intervention.
• Follow the school’s behaviour policy and manage classes effectively.
• Participate in curriculum action groups and support school events and outings.
• Run a weekly extracurricular activity each term.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Target Tracker for recording student progress.
• Experience using CPOMS for parent and student communication.
