Architectural & Design Promotion Lead

About the role

ABB is seeking an Architectural & Design Promotion Lead to champion our smart‑home and energy‑efficient solutions among architects, interior designers and specifiers across the UAE. You will combine design insight with sales expertise to ensure our products are specified in residential projects.

Key responsibilities

• Drive short‑ and long‑term sales growth and market recognition for ABB’s design‑focused product portfolio.
• Build and nurture relationships with architects, designers, technology consultants and end‑clients.
• Present product solutions highlighting aesthetic appeal, smart‑home integration, automation and energy‑management benefits.
• Conduct product demos, sample presentations and live technology showcases.
• Influence early‑stage specifications to secure product inclusion in project plans.
• Organise educational sessions such as lunch‑and‑learns and seminars for design and technology firms.
• Collaborate with internal design teams to align solutions with aesthetic, technical and commercial requirements.
• Maintain accurate sales activity records in CRM systems and monitor project pipelines from concept to installation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior design, business or a related field (preferred).
• Proven sales experience in building materials, smart‑home technology or a related industry.
• Strong understanding of design principles, materials and smart‑home ecosystems.
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Fluency in English and Arabic; additional European languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools.
• Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of IoT and home/building automation systems.
• Familiarity with smart‑home integration and energy‑efficient technologies.
