Area Sales Manager – Healthful Solutions (Middle East, Africa & Türkiye)

About the role

Ingredion is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to drive its Healthful Solutions portfolio across the Middle East, Africa and Türkiye. Based in Dubai, you will partner with regional sales teams to shape strategy, grow revenue and expand the adoption of sugar‑reduction and plant‑based specialty ingredients.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the Healthful Solutions strategy for the assigned region.
• Manage a portfolio of customer and distributor accounts, overseeing pipeline development and revenue delivery.
• Identify new sales opportunities, lead customer projects and negotiate annual pricing, payment and delivery terms.
• Develop food and beverage formulations that showcase the benefits of sugar‑reduction, plant‑based functional and texturising solutions.
• Collaborate with technical, marketing and regulatory teams to introduce new ideas, accelerate product launches and monitor GCC regulatory trends.

Required profile

• A degree in Food Science, Chemistry or a related discipline.
• Strong commercial or sales experience in food ingredients, with a proven record of delivering projects and driving growth in specialty markets.
• Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.

Required skills

• Experience with sugar‑reduction or plant‑based ingredients (ideally proteins).
• Solid knowledge of food processing, ingredient functionality, formulation and ingredient interactions.
• Strong commercial acumen and passion for sales, account management and business development.
